Market Research Day

For our last session in PrEP we started to prepare our Market research. For this we had to make a questionnaire for students from Rooms 1-5 coming to look at our products. At the start of the day we made our product and made sure that they product was looking awesome. We then had to set up the stall and get everything prepared. Once every stall and service was set up the customers came in. Lots of questions were asked and lots of answers were shared. After the customers left each group went through and looked at the questionnaire and decided how much products to make and the prices of every product. Over all the Market Research day went very well for Pimp My Desk. Our blue stationery pack was the favourite.

What PrEP Is.

PrEP is a day where students make a product/service and sell it. The students get put into groups of around three to five people and they have to apply for jobs. The jobs are CEO, Financial Manager, Designer and marketer. But If there is one person left without a job they get Employee. Once the jobs are sorted it is much easier to work because everyone has a job. Each group gets a folder which has all there information like the ideas the money bag etc. Each group has a brainstorm on all there ideas then the top five ideas are taking onto the decision grid which helps you think if its the best idea for prices and stock etc. Once that has all been sorted you find your best idea and start researching on it. You then start designing the product and asking people how much they would pay for your product.
